Album of the Month
Known Liar is at its heart an album about grief, the ways that we navigate death, and the ripples of change(both negative and positive) that it causes within our communities. In 2022 we lost our dear friend, bass player, and founding member Jill Mack after a ferocious and heartbreaking battle with cancer. Known Liar isn’t a concept album, but a love letter for a friend whose impact extended past her earth bound vessel and continues to reverberate through those who loved her.

June Plain A.I.R.
dead ex girlfriends is a 4-piece grunge and punk band hailing from Treaty 6 Territory. They channel a cathartic release that resonates widely, delivering raw and unapologetic soundscapes mirroring their lived experiences as queer and Indigenous fems. Fearlessly addressing crucial issues, the band's music serves as a potent platform to confront topics like domestic violence, sexual assault, and racism, sparking conversations and driving change through their powerful performances and evocative lyrics.
Throughout the month of June, you'll have a chance to hear from each of the members of dead ex girlfriends as they chat about their influences and musical backgrounds, share their favourite tracks, and give you a sneak peek into their upcoming releases!
📻 Tune in every Sunday from 11pm-12am on CFCR 90.5FM in Saskatoon and Saturday from 3-4pm on 91.3FM CJTR in Regina!
