July is here and school is out; kids are looking for things to do! Whether a youth is looking for volunteer opportunities, events to attend, or see what our city has to offer, our events page has everything they’d be looking for. We want to encourage youth to get out of the house and involved in our community in any capacity they are able to.
Summer is a great time for anyone to connect with their community. Try something new this month: say hi to your neighbors, volunteer, advocate for something you care about, or simply get to know what’s happening in Saskatoon. Our city is a better place with you in it; make it an even better place by contributing to it.
Music festival season is upon us, and it’s not too late to buy your tickets. Explore Jazz Fest (July 3-12), The Salt Shaker (July 11-13), and Ness Creek (July 17-20). Sask Music has a list of all the music festivals happening in Saskatchewan this year, so be sure to check that out.
The winner of our win-win fundraiser — who’s taking home $2,590 — is Robert H. of Saskatoon! Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, your support for our fundraisers is always greatly appreciated.
