FM-Phasis is upon us!
It’s the time of year again to announce the return of FM-Phasis - CFCR’s annual fundraiser…. and we need your support!
FM-Phasis is crucial to keeping community radio thriving in Saskatoon, and every dollar raised helps us continue to bring you the diverse, independent radio programming you love.
Here’s the sitch…
This year, the dates for FM-Phasis are September 14th - 27th. During this time, CFCR’s volunteer hosts will be on-air, letting you know all about how you can donate, how your donation is helping keep community radio alive, and what your donation gets you in return! We have a stacked list of Grand and Early Bird Prizes that you have a chance to win, so stay tuned for the deets!
On Friday the 13th, head on down to Amigos Cantina to hear some tunes from Checkout Queens, Banastronaut and H2FLO.
Admission is $10, and music starts at 10PM!
On Tuesday September 17th, enjoy an evening with Andy Shauf on his solo tour at The Broadway Theatre.
This is an all-ages licensed event. Tickets are $45, and doors are at 6:30PM.

On Saturday, September 21st, CFCR presents the “Ninth Kinda Annual, Spin ‘Em If You Got ‘Em, FM-Phasis Funding Drive Edition” RECORD FAIR at the spacious Grace Westminster Church, one block west of Broadway (505 10th St E).
From 10AM-11AM, it’s our Early Nerd Hour, where you can be one of the first to dig through crates full of a wide variety of new and used Vinyl, CDs, Tapes, and other musical goodies. Admission for Early Nerd Hour is $10.
From 11AM - 3PM, we have Regular Hours, with admission of $5 (or free with your 2024-2025 CFCR Membership Card!)
On Wednesday, September 24th, enjoy a cozy cafe night at Citizen Cafe featuring performances by Christopher and The Saints and Olive Forrest.
Admission is $5 or PWYC. This is an all-ages event, and food and drink will be available for purchase at the cafe.

Breakout West - Volunteer Opportunity
BreakOut West is coming to Saskatoon Sept 24-29!
Breakout West features an immersive music industry and artist development conference, and a festival with 50+ artists performing across multiple venues. The festival highlights Western Canadian talent alongside select International and Pan-Canadian artists.
Volunteer at the event and get a weekend badge that lets you into every show so that you can catch as many artists as possible! All of the festival venues are in the Broadway area, so you can jump between shows easily each night.
